The dedication event will showcase the 30,000 square foot “virtual hospital” training facility located on the BSC campus at 1133 College Drive. With an ambulance bay, exam rooms, simulation labs and surgical suites, the facility offers a hospital-like setting providing state-of-the-art training to BSC’s healthcare students. BSC’s Health Sciences programs inside the new facility include:
Nursing
Surgical Technology
Paramedic Technology
Emergency Medical Technician
Certified Nursing Assistant
Medical Laboratory Technician (moving in Spring 2020)
The former Unisys building was purchased by the BSC Foundation in 2014 for BSC’s future growth. The Foundation began renovating the facility in January 2019 and completed the project in June 2019. Funding from the North Dakota Legislature allowed BSC to purchase the building from the Foundation after renovations were completed.
