Average wages in North Dakota fell slightly in 2015 – for the first time in the last decade. The reduction is due to the drop off in average wages in North Dakota’s oil counties; however, wages in the state’s three coal counties – Oliver, Mercer and McLean – continued to rise showing the stability of the industry.
