Computer Lab & Classroom

The Engineering Technology program is located in the state-of- the-art National Energy Center of Excellence (NECE) on the Bismarck State College campus.
Located on the 3rd floor of the northeast corner of the building, the Engineering Technology program shares office, computer lab, and classroom space with the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Technician program.
In addition to the Engineering Technology and GIS Technician program, this facility houses the National Center of Excellence programs, BSC Administration and the Continuing Education, Training and Innovation department.  On the first floor, students can relax in the break room and unwind between classes.

GIS/CAD Computer Lab
This lab boasts a lot of fantastic equipment.  With seating for 20 students, all computer workstations feature dual monitors and the latest versions of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office products.  Additionally, the lab features built in desks, comfortable chairs, and unobstructed views of the front of the room.  The lab also has features a Smartboard with a low projection video projector and a “smartroom” setup, complete with internet connections on all computers, complete A/V setup, and a document camera. 
     
 
Engineering Technology and GIS Classroom
Across the hall from the GIS/CAD lab and adjacent to the faculty office area is the Engineering Technology and GIS classroom.  With seating for 32 students, this room boasts a complete A/V setup, document camera, and wonderful windows.
