Description
The University Studies program allows students to create a plan with areas of emphasis that will help them attain post-graduation goals. Each area of emphasis must include a minimum of 12 credits of study with at least 6 of those credits being upper division credits. No fewer than 15 credits must be proposed (remain to be taken after approval) and included in the proposal.
Preparation
This program is designed to allow a student to be admitted as either a transfer applicant or as a direct enrolled applicant. Refer to the BAS Admission Requirements page for Direct Enrollment information.
Students enrolling in the University Studies BAS program as transfer applicants may have earned an associate in applied science, associate in arts, or associate in science from an accredited institution recognized by Bismarck State College. Previous college coursework, along with industry experience and/or military training, may be considered to determine eligibility.
Requirements
All BSC courses use a Learning Management System (LMS) called Blackboard. Chromebooks, Chrome OS devices, iPads, and mobile devices (iOS, Android phones, tablets) do not allow students to satisfactorily access and complete course content.
