Orientation at BSC is called M.OR.E. and is held each fall during the first week of school. This event is for students who have been accepted to BSC and are new or transfer students. Parents are invited to attend a separate parent session held in the same building, at the same time as the student sessions.

The M.OR.E. Table will be set up in the foyer on the 4thfloor of the National Energy Center for Excellence (NECE). We will have snacks, free swag, information about Welcome Week, Blackboard tutorials, campus tours and much more.

Welcome Week

Finding Your Feet (Registration)
Finding Your Feet is BSC’s M.OR.E. welcome event. New students will hear from Dr. Larry Skogen, president of BSC along with a few other departments where they’ll learn the ins and outs of campus resources and student conduct. This is a great opportunity for new students to meet their peers, as well.

Welcome Fair
The Club Fair features clubs and organizations around campus for students to get involved in. Clubs and organizations are open to any BSC students and cover a wide range of interests and hobbies. 

Club Fair will take place on Monday, August 26, from 11am-3pm in the Student Union!
Blackboard Tutorials
Blackboard is the go-to site for homework, communication with your professor, and grade checking. You’ll also find your syllabus and instructor information, be able to submit assignments, create discussions, and communicate with your course mates.

Board Certified Hypnotist, Professional Entertainer & Human Empowerment Speaker. Sailesh has dedicated his life to not only making audiences laugh, but changing lives in the process.
Must be 18 or older to attend.
Justin Brown
Date: September 19th10:00am-11:30am

Speaker Justin Brown is founder of Diversity Awareness Program. The D.A.P Diversity Training is a 90 minute workshop where Justin incorporates diversity activities, role playing, and cultural unity scenarios that focus on the value and meaning of what it means to be culturally aware and diverse in an organization or university campus. Justin makes sure that the participants not only learn about diversity but also have fun while having difficult conversations.
