ND Indian Scholarship

The North Dakota Indian scholarship program was established to provide scholarship awards to Indian students who qualify through an application procedure. The scholarship program provides awards to qualifying undergraduate or graduate students admitted to any institution of higher learning or state career and technical education program within the state. A student may qualify for an award by demonstrating academic merit, or by demonstrating financial need. Students can earn up to $2,000 in scholarship funding per year. Recipients must maintain GPAs of 2.0 or higher.

To be eligible for consideration an applicant must:
  • Be North Dakota residents and enrolled members of federally recognized Indian tribe.
  • Be accepted for admission by a North Dakota institution of higher learning or state vocational education program and be enrolled as full-time students.
  • Be enrolled as full-time student
  • Maintain GPAs of 2.0 or higher.
