Nuclear Regulatory Commission Scholarship

Bismarck State College provides this scholarship to encourage students to enter the nuclear generation, medical or research workforce. Underrepresented populations such as women, minorities and students with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.

Scholarships of $5000 will be awarded each year to students, not to exceed $10,000 per student. To qualify, the student must be enrolled in Nuclear Power Technology or Instrumentation and Control Technology. Funded by U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Award #31310022M0027.

Requirements
  1. Citizen of the United States, national, refugee alien or permanent resident alien at time of application.
  2. Sign Student Service Agreement form.
  3. Must be accepted for admission at BSC.
  4. Student applicants must maintain satisfactory academic progress in the field of  study.
  5. Demonstrate financial need.
  6. A full-time student seeking an associate degree or a certificate in Nuclear Power Technology or Instrumentation and Control Technology.

* Accepted applicants will be required to complete a Student Service Agreement required by Nuclear Regulator Commission. This agreement will be sent to the applicant upon acceptance of the scholarship.
