Recently, 8 Bismarck State College (BSC) students have been recognized by the BSC Foundation as recipients of journalism scholarships. These scholarships are payable for the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 semesters and will help students pursue a degree from Bismarck State College (BSC).

Journalism scholarships are awarded to students with special journalism skills. In addition, scholarships are awarded to the editors of the Mystician, BSC's student news magazine, and Figments of Imagination, the annual literary art magazine. Recipients must carry 12 credit hours at BSC and earn a 2.5 GPA.

The BSC Foundation is committed to the encouragement and support of academic excellence. Through the support of many generous benefactors, the BSC Foundation was able to budget more than $620,000 in scholarship awards this academic year.
