Onboarding and I9

Once you accept your offer letter, there are a few more steps before you are ready to work. Please utilize the resources below to guide you through the onboarding process. Please contact for questions regarding applications, offer letters and onboarding.

I-9 Verification

The I-9 is a required document for all BSC employees. This form is utilized to verify the employment authorization of individuals hired for employment in the United States, including citizens and noncitizens. You MUST have original identification documents to complete the I-9. Please refer to the Lists of Acceptable Documents for further information on acceptable I-9 identification. No copies will be accepted, and documents must be unexpired. You will not be able to begin working if your I-9 is not completed.



After you have accepted your offer, you will receive emails with directions on completing the onboarding process. The first email will come from Kelli Wilson and will contain instructions for Step 1 and Step 2. Step 1 will give you your employee ID and give you information on claiming your user account. This must be completed before Step 2. Step 2 will allow you to log in and complete your onboarding steps. Any questions about onboarding can be sent to
Please be sure to complete all steps in both emails, even if it seems like you are doing some items more than once.

Criminal History Background Check (CHBC)

All employees at BSC are required to undergo a background check to be eligible to work. This includes but is not limited to criminal history check/national sex offender registry check, employment verification, license and/or certification verification, and/or academic credential verification. The background check will come to you in an email, so please check the email you used for your application for this information. Onboarding can not begin until this is complete.
