Instrumentation & Control Technology-Student Agreement Form

Lab Requirements
As an enrolled student in the online Instrumentation & Control Technology program, you are required to complete ICTL 205L, ICTL 215L, ICTL 225L, ICTL 235L, ICTL 245L and ICTL 255L to complete the AAS degree requirements. To meet the requirements of completion for the six lab courses, one of two options must be completed. The options are to complete the six labs on-campus, during the summer semester following completion of all ICTL theory courses or to complete the six lab course requirements remotely.

BSC Campus (Limited to 12 students)
The lab activities are typically offered at the BSC campus the first four weeks of the summer semester (starting the Monday after graduation). Students should plan to attend from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., seven days each week (Monday - Sunday). Students are responsible for additional costs including but not limited to travel, lodging, meals, etc. If a student is using financial aid, please contact the BSC Financial Aid office to verify the possibility of additional aid eligibility.

Remote Option
To be eligible, students must meet the following three requirements:
  1. Employed in the energy industry within an approved position
  2. Agree access is available to the required equipment at students employment location
  3. Approved mentor of whom will verify required tasks and competencies
The online I&C Technology program advisor will explain the requirements necessary to complete each of the lab courses. All students eligible to complete the requirements remotely must complete and sign a MOU with the advisor.
