Mystic Comeback Waiver Application/Procedure

Pursuant to SBHE Policy 820, BSC may offer a waiver to BSC students meeting eligibility requirements.
 
 
Waiver Details:
  1. Award will be $500 for full-time and $250 for part-time.
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Must apply and be accepted for readmission to BSC for the upcoming semester as a degree-seeking student.
  • Previous BSC student who has not earned a degree and readmitted to BSC for Fall 2025 or Spring 2026.
  • United States citizen or permanent resident
  • Submit waiver application by deadline, August 19 for Fall 2025 and January 6 for Spring 2026.
  • Student must be registered for a minimum of 6 credits.
 
Application Process:
  1. Student must meet all BSC admission requirements and be accepted for readmission during the upcoming semester.
  2. BSC Admissions Director will review all applications received by August 19 for Fall 2025 and January 6 for Spring 2026.
  3. BSC Admissions Director will notify qualifying students of award.
 
Selection and Awarding Process:
  1. Director of Admissions will select applicants based on eligibility criteria.
  2. Director of Admissions will notify Student Finance to apply waivers.
 
Withdraws/Revocation:
  • Students who withdraw will be subject to the refund policy consistent with NDUS policy 830.2 and will be responsible for any outstanding balance on their student account.
 
Monitoring:
  • Renewal/Continuation of the waiver program will be at the discretion of the VP of Academic Affairs.
