The Bismarck State College Theatre Arts program presents its Festival of Short Plays for adult audiences May 3-4 in Sidney J. Lee Auditorium.
 
Set for 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. both days, the six one-act plays are produced by the BSC One Act Production class. Students are responsible for play selection, artistic vision, marketing auditions, casting, and coordinating the technical aspects of the production.
 
Casts for the 10-minute shorts are BSC students, alumni, University of Mary students and members of the local community.
 
Student directors and their plays are:
                  Tim Bjugstad (Mandan, N.D.) – “Polly,”
                  Tanner Hostetter (Huff, N.D.) – “Kill Me, Please”
                  Alicia Billock (Mott, N.D.) – “Film Appreciation”
                  Carly Willoughby (Bismarck, N.D.) – “Sarah Stein Sends a Selfie”
                  Robert Day (Mandan, N.D.) – “Café D’Automatique”
                  Frank Vondra (Park River, N.D.) – “Post Mortem”
