Stop. No breathing. No blinking. No moving. And we're rolling...

Six student groups on the Bismarck State College campus came together to create Mannequin Challenge videos in hopes of winning top honors and bragging rights in a Facebook competition in which people voted for their favorite video.

The Mannequin Challenge is the latest fad sweeping the nation where people freeze mid-move like mannequins while the camera roles. It is believed that the phenomenon was started by students in Jacksonville, Florida in October 2016, and has since become an Internet sensation with videos popping up from high school and college students, professional athletes and even from the White House.

BSC students in Athletics/Basketball, Energy Club/Lineworkers, Drama Club/Theater, Music/Choir, Graphic Design & Communications, and The Mystician were all vying for a prize package from the BSC Bookstore. Their videos, including the winner, are posted on the BSC Bookstore Facebook page.
