Bismarck State College has just received a grant from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
The $140,934 grant will fund 18 scholarships over the next two years. The goal is to increase the number of women, minorities and low income students entering the work force in nuclear-related jobs. Anyone is eligible to apply for the scholarships. An aging workforce means there needs to be workers to replace those retiring.
