A coalition of local people could meet as early as this week to look at how Tioga can present itself as the preferred location for a proposed petrochemical plant in western North Dakota.
The plant is estimated to potentially employ 100 to 200 people.
Tioga Economic Developer Dennis Lindahl, speaking to members of the Tioga Chamber of Commerce last week, laid out why he thinks the proposed facility will ultimately be located in either Stanley or Tioga rather than in Minot, Berthold or Williston.
