‘Know Your State’ contest registration due Feb. 8

Registration for the preliminary test of the “Know Your State” contest is due Feb. 8 for the finals to be held at Bismarck State College next spring.
The online registration form can be accessed at

BSC hosts the finals April 25 for the top two 11
th
and 12
th
grade scorers from each county in North Dakota. Eight cash prizes will be awarded, including two $1,000 first place awards.
Preliminary test dates are Feb. 29 to March 9 with county finalists announced the week of March 21.
The “Know Your State” contest is designed to encourage students to use their knowledge of North Dakota to become bettered educated citizens, voters and leaders for the state.
The annual contest is sponsored by Bismarck State College and the North Dakota Masonic Foundation.
