BSC adds new staff and promotes employee

Bismarck State College hired two new professional staff and promoted another employee during the past few months.
 
Kate Millner is the new student accessibility services specialist. She held the position of senior rehabilitation counselor at the North Dakota Division of Vocational Rehabilitation the past five years. Millner has a master’s degree in rehabilitation and mental health counseling from Montana State University in Billings.
 
Shannon Balerud, admissions counselor, was a human resource assistant and event coordinator for Quality Title, Inc., in Bismarck the past two years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from University of North Dakota.
 
Deanna Burgard was administrative assistant for Continuing Education, Training & Innovation (CETI) three years before her promotion to CETI operations manager. She is a BSC graduate.
