Registration for the preliminary test of the “Know Your State” contest at Bismarck State College is due Feb. 8.

BSC hosts the finals for the top two 11
th
and 12
th
grade student scorers from each county in North Dakota on April 24. Eight cash prizes will be awarded, including two $1,000 first place awards.
Preliminary test dates are Feb. 27 to March 8 with finalists announced the week of March 20.
The “Know Your State” contest is designed to encourage students to use their knowledge of North Dakota to become bettered educated citizens, voters and leaders for the state.
The annual contest is sponsored by the North Dakota Masonic Foundation and hosted by BSC.
