BSC awarded eight medallions for marketing excellence

Bismarck State College has shown that it can compete with the big dogs when it comes to its marketing efforts.
 
BSC landed in the winner’s circle in eight times in seven categories of the 2020 National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR) Medallion Awards which were announced Oct. 16, 2020. NCMPR is a national organization of marketing and public relations professionals at community and technical colleges. The NCMPR Medallion Awards recognize outstanding achievement in design and communication in each of NCMPR's seven districts.
 
BSC earned Gold Medallions of Excellence in the Magazine category for the Winter 2020 BSC Magazine and for the BSC website redesign in the Website category. BSC earned Silver Medallions in Magazine category for the Summer 2019 BSC Magazine, in the Poster (Single or Series) category for the BSC Mystic Advising & Counseling Center Take a Break Poster, in the Electronic Catalog, Schedule, Viewbook or Annual Report category for the BSC Residence Hall Digital Handbook, in the Video Shorts category for the BSC Thank You Healthcare Workers video and in the Print Advertisement category for the BSC COVID Healthcare Thank You Ad. They also earned a Bronze Medallion in the Postcard category for the BSC Admissions Decal Postcard. The entries were the creative works of the BSC College Relations team which included Marnie Piehl, Juanita Lee, Lacey Lange, Rhea Beto, Dusty Anderson, Cole Bernhardt and Witney Nielsen.
 
NCMPR has more than 1,550 members from more than 650 colleges across the United States, Canada and other countries.
