Beginning Monday, Sept. 14, Bismarck State College and Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health will hold a free, one-hour COVID-19 testing event every Monday in the BSC Student Union Alumni Room from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Testing is open to all BSC students and employees. Those wishing to be tested should sign up for a time slot and pre-register at testreg.nd.gov to expedite the process on testing day. If someone has previously been tested for COVID-19, they do not need to pre-register at testreg.nd.gov.

What to expect:
  • Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health will conduct the COVID-19 tests using throat swabs
  • Six people can be tested every 5 minutes
  • Two stations and two lanes will be set up
  • Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health will provide individuals with their test results and any instructions when available
The testing is one piece of BSC’s multilayer mitigation efforts that allow the college to offer the best possible in-person classroom and experience while maintaining a safe and healthy environment for students, employees and the public. The campus also requires facemasks, has implemented social distancing in all gathering spaces, installed state-of-the-art technology in classrooms to allow for seamless hybrid instruction and more. *All campus events will follow recommended CDC safety guidelines including mandatory face masks and social distancing.
