A group exhibit titled "America's 2000: Best of the Best" is on display at Bismarck State College through Sept. 30 in the new Gannon Gallery space at the Communications & Creative Arts Center.

A public reception for any artists who can attend is set for Tuesday, Sept. 22, from 4 to 7 p.m. in second floor gallery. The event coincides with BSC's grand opening of the building.

The exhibit contains 33 artworks by 17 artists from 16 states. Pieces were chosen as best of show over the past decade in the annual America's 2000: All Media and Paperworks juried competitions sponsored by the Northwest Art Center at Minot State University.

A variety of mediums are represented including sculpture, painting, cast paper, printmaking and photography.
