Sixteen BSC Dual Credit/Early Entry students have earned the distinction of being named to the Bismarck State College President's Honor Roll for the Fall 2024 semester. The students recognized for this achievement were each enrolled in 12 or more credits at BSC while still in high school.
"Achievements earned as a BSC Dual Credit student create a strong foundation for future career success by developing knowledge, skills and discipline. The dedication shown today paves the way for new opportunities and equips them to confidently face challenges in their chosen career path," says BSC Interim President Brent Sanford.
Dual Credit/Early Entry students are high school sophomores, juniors and seniors who take BSC college courses that allow them to meet their high school graduation requirements and receive college credit at the same time. Students must maintain at least a 3.50 grade point average on a 4.00 scale while enrolled in at least 12 BSC semester credits to qualify for the President's Honor Roll. Students enrolled in 12 or more semester credits are considered full-time BSC students.
In Fall 2024, more than 1,100 high school students kick-started their college career at BSC by enrolling in Dual Credit/Early Entry classes. For more information about Dual Credit/Early Entry at BSC visit bismarckstate.edu/FastTrack.
