Three members of the music faculty at Dickinson State University will join the Bismarck State College music faculty for a performance Sunday, Sept. 20, at 3 p.m. in Sidney J. Lee Auditorium.

The joint recital signals the beginning of BSC's four-year collaborative Music program with Dickinson State University.

Performing from DSU are vocal soprano Erin Oberlander, clarinetist Jeremy Wohletz and pianist Joel Walters.

Wohletz will play "Hommage à M. de Falla" by Bèla Kovàcs and then join Oberlander and Walters in "Wach Auf" by Louis Spohr.

Their respective pieces are "Sentimentale" by Claude Bolling, "Ritual Fire Dance" by Manuel de Falla, "Youth and Passing By" by Peter Warlock, and Violin Concerto No. 2 (third movement) by Sergei Prokofiev.

BSC ensembles include a Schumann duet by Bauman and soprano Dawn Hagerott and a combo of Rob Peske on steel drum and Langer on marimba doing "Headlong" by Dan Moore.

The event is free and open to the public.
