Bismarck State College named approved training provider

Published: Aug 12 2015

The Water and Wastewater Technology program curriculum at Bismarck State College has been recognized and approved for Training Units (TUs) and also experience towards the entry-level exam required for water and wastewater operators for the state of Colorado.  BSC joins just six other institutions approved to provide training to water professionals thorough the Colorado Operator Certification Program Office.

"This approval means that water and wastewater operators in Colorado have access to high quality training options through Bismarck State College that will apply towards their on-going training requirements," says Ryan Caya, program manager. "BSC has been a leader in operator training for decades for a variety of industries, and we are pleased to see that recognized by other states in the water industry, as well."

BSC has also been approved as an online Continuing Education Units (CEU) provider for select courses and approved to provide provisional level exams by the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation Division.
