What is an Articulation Agreement?
An articulation agreement is a formally approved arrangement between two or more educational institutions that enables students to transfer specific coursework or credits from one institution to another. These agreements provide a clear pathway for students to apply completed credits toward advanced standing, entry, or degree requirements in a designated program at the receiving institution.
Articulation agreements are often referred to as transfer agreements, transfer guides, or transfer pathways, depending on the audience or context.
Information regarding the qualifications and requirements of state articulation agreements can be found in NDUS Procedures. A comprehensive list of BSC’s articulation agreements and MOUs can be accessed here.
