Chevron Job Experience Training (JET) positions are now open!

JET provides individuals with the opportunity to job shadow, intern, and apprentice in oil and gas production careers. The program introduces them to professions that are crucial in our industry, inspires individuals to be problem solvers in their approach to work, and encourages the transfer of knowledge and skills between expert employees and the individual.

Apprenticeship Opportunities are available in the Midstream and Upstream Business Units
  • Pay is $30 per hour
  • Potential for a $3,000 college scholarship
Internship Opportunities are available in the Midstream and Upstream Business Units
  • Pay is $25 per hour
  • Also eligible for scholarship
To be eligible to participate, you must meet the minimum qualifications:
  • Hold a valid driver's license
  • Pass a drug/alcohol test
  • Pass a background check
  • Obtain health clearances to meet the physical requirements of the position
  • Have the desire or interest in performing the duties of a Reliability Operator

Participants taking courses at BSC will be required to go through the college's admissions process and be admitted as students prior to being able to enroll in classes.
