Join us for the unveiling of a historic wet-plate portrait of Larry Skogen, created by renowned photographer Shane Balkowitsch. The portrait, which has been in storage since the library flood, has been newly reframed and will be permanently reinstalled in a new location in the lobby of Larry Skogen Hall.
The unveiling will take place on Wednesday, April 29 at 4:15 p.m. and will coincide with the Annual Visual Art Student Exhibition reception, held from 4–6 p.m. in the same building. Guests are encouraged to attend both events as they overlap, creating a vibrant celebration of art, history and campus community.
Both Larry Skogen and Shane Balkowitsch will be in attendance for this special occasion.
