A weekly series of 1960s-era movies will be shown starting Thursday, Oct. 1, at Bismarck State College as a lead-in to BSC's Nov. 3-5 symposium, "The ‘60s: Turmoil and Transformation."

All movies are free and begin at 7 p.m. in BSC's newly remodeled Student Union.

The line-up is "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" (1967) on Oct. 1, "The Green Berets" (1968) on Oct. 8, and "Night of the Living Dead" (1968) on Oct. 15. The series closes with "2001: A Space Odyssey" (1968) on Oct. 29.
