Individuals interested in turning their creativity into a career have an opportunity to explore the growing world of creative media during the Bismarck State College Content Creators Summit on Friday, Oct. 9.

The 2026 Content Creators Summit, held at the BSC Advanced Technology Center, is designed for individuals interested in creative media degrees and careers. The day-long event will offer an inside look at a variety of fields, including writing, graphic design, photography, animation, podcast production, social media, videography and more. Over four breakout sessions, attendees will gain exposure to different areas of content creation and hear perspectives from professionals in the media and creative industries.

The summit will feature keynote speaker Amy Allender, a motivational speaker and writer whose work focuses on helping people develop a positive mindset, build resilience and find greater purpose in their everyday lives. Based in Minot, Allender also creates written and social media content and shares resources focused on mental wellness, intentional living and life in North Dakota.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by a welcome at 9 a.m. and a keynote presentation at 9:10 a.m. Four break-out sessions will take place throughout the day, with lunch at noon. The summit will wrap up with a question-and-answer session with media professionals and BSC students at 3 p.m.
