The BSC Alumni Association values the support and commitment that alumni, fans and friends of the college give BSC through support of the association. Supporting the best interests and traditions of Bismarck/Mandan's community college and its alumni nationwide is a top priority.
By attending Bismarck Junior College / Bismarck State College, you are considered a member of the BSC Alumni Association. In order to promote our mission of enhancing and developing BSC through lifelong involvement as well as keeping you connected to BSC, we sincerely appreciate your support of our programs. Alumni support has enabled us to keep you connected with campus through BSC ArtsQuest, music and theater programs, Mystic Athletics and alumni recognition.
The boards of directors for both the BSC Alumni Association and the Bismarck State College Foundation recently voted to combine funding for our organizations! After much thought and consideration, the boards decided that this move will allow us to maximize our impact to support more students in their pursuit of higher education and enrich the communities that we serve.
Now, in addition to the alumni programs, your support will enable the BSC Foundation Annual Fund to help areas of great need across campus, such as:
- Scholarships for students needing financial assistance to complete their degree
- Equipment and supplies that will train students with up-to-date technology
- Faculty and staff development to ensure that BSC is providing high quality education and support to students
- Enrichment grants that bring in guest lecturers, performing arts, and more events that are open and free for the community, students and employees
- Emergency assistance for students facing crisis
