Hosted by XR for VR and funded by the U.S. Department of Education, this four-day summer training event brings together K–16 Career and Technical Education (CTE) educators from across North Dakota for hands-on professional development focused on Industry 4.0 technologies.
Participants will gain experience with robotics, drones, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), automation systems, assistive technology, and virtual reality while learning how these technologies are shaping today’s workforce. The workshop also includes industry presentations and tours that connect classroom learning to real-world career pathways.
The goal of the workshop is to equip educators with practical tools and knowledge they can bring back to their classrooms to better prepare students for careers in advanced manufacturing, energy, automation, and emerging technologies.

Seats are limited, and early registration is encouraged.
