Individuals enrolled in an on-campus or online BSC course that requires a proctor for their exams can complete their exams with Testing Services free of charge. Students must make an appointment at least 24 hours in advance and bring a photo ID to each appointment. All exams must be completed by 4:00 p.m. For paper exams, please see make-up testing.
Bismarck State College, a member of the Consortium of College Testing Centers, supports distance learning by providing proctoring services for students away from their campuses or individuals needing to take exams through testing companies or businesses. Exams can be either paper-pencil or web-based. Examinee is responsible for notifying the college/business to send all exam information to Testing Services.
Non-BSC students are required to complete the proctoring fee of $20 per hour, minimum of one hour. Debit or credit card is preferred for the type of payment.

ATI TEAS Testing - Dakota Nursing Program
Register for your exam at www.atitesting.com. Visit https://dakotanursing.org/home-2/pn-certificate/ for test dates, frequently asked questions and more! Students taking the TEAS test for a different institution will be required to complete the proctoring fee of $20 an hour upon completion of exam. The TEAS test must be taken by March, however, BSC Testing Services administers the TEAS tests between November and July. The scores are valid for 2 years.
Scantron provides computer based testing for certification and professional licensure exams. Bismarck State College is a Scantron test center with the ability to proctor exams for over 80 different organizations. BSC offers certifications in Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) but is open for requests for other exams. Visit https://certiport.pearsonvue.com/ for more information. Proctoring fee of $20 an hour is required upon completion of exam.
Crane Institute Certification (CIC)
CIC provides accredited certification for the crane industry. Registration and appointment scheduling is completed through the CIC Web site. There is no proctor/administration fee required for the CIC test.

Pearson Vue provides licensure, certification, and education testing across all major industries. BSC is a Pearson Vue test center with the ability to proctor exams for over 450 different companies and organizations. There is no proctor/administration fee required for the Pearson Vue test.
Electronics Technician Association, International
ETA - Electronics Technician Association, International is an association that serves technology-related industries by providing individual certifications. With an ETA certification, you can work in areas such as fiber optics, RF communications, electronics, biomedical, renewable energy, smart home, photonics and precision optics, information technology, and more! The Praxis® tests measure the academic skills and subject-specific content knowledge needed for teaching. The Praxis tests are taken by individuals entering the teaching profession as part of the certification process required by many states and professional licensing organizations. The TOEFL test is the leading English-Language test for study, immigration and work. Prospective students whose native language is not English must submit proof of English Proficiency before attending BSC.
